My self portrait is a little snippet abut me and my life. I wanted to express how I love my family, hobbies and faith in one video and I chose to film it in first person view to give a sense that the people watching the video can see what its like to step into my shoes. In doing this project, there were a lot of other videos that were really well planned and really told me a lot about themselves and were very creative. I really enjoyed Elise Heidricks video and the filmography was interesting with a very aesthetic background and I got to know a lot about her through photos. You can find her here: https://youtu.be/G6tArtf6gtI . I also thought Taylor Haynes had an amazing video with a lot of edits with creative and fun narration, and by the end of it I wanted to watch more.

My Choices When Filming
When filming, I wanted to have everything laid out and close hand since I had to film this in one take. I wanted to include family members and symbols that could represent and I could use as I talk about what I do. I purposely filmed this in the evening while the suns barely out to give a sense of aesthetic and calming mood. I thought about filming this all in 3rd person view but I decided to do most of it in first and at the end in third to have diversity and make the viewers feel different things with the camera angle.

What Do I Want To Gain From This Video
I hope to have informed and shown people a little bit about me and my lifestyle. The biggest obstacle was the one take aspects and not messing up but the audio wasn't a problem but the video and voiceover was a challenge. I wanted to put a family aspect and show that I am a warm and kind person. If I were to do this again I would film it about thirty minutes earlier for a bit more light and make it longer somehow to include more details. I learned a lot about editing and using the software to make my videos cleaner and more appealing to the eye. I would use a higher quality camera to get a better resolution and streaming. overall think it was an amazing first e-Comm video and I had a ton of fun filming it.
