At first, Photoshop was very intimidating for me since it was all brand new. I quickly learned that there were hundreds of options and different ways of retouching and making an image to your liking. we were given this assignment for combine and retouch 3 images of this girl and make it all in one harmonious and put together piece. I learned how to use a variety of tools like the lasso, brush, blur, and patching tool and enhanced my technique. My favorite photoshop editing skill is using the clone stamp tool because it has so many different uses and useful I'm different situations.

The tools that were used for the blending of the three images were the clone stamp tool, lasso, blur, patch, masks, and painting with black and white. we first had to get rid of all of the trees on the inside corners and resize some of the images. then we had to pull in the images and put masks over the center layer, the hat, and the sleeves so we could fill in the parts that were chopped off. we did color retouching and then finally we enhanced the skin tones and colors. The most useful tool was the masks so we could ride certain things or add whatever I needed by paintings with black or white and will be a very useful tool to use in the future

when watching the tutorials that were given, I thought they were helpful and they made sense but since it was a bigger project, I don't know if I will memorize all of the shortcuts or tools to use for each situation but still a very good learning experience. I definitely know more nw and I hope to expand on mastering the masks and ordering my layers with it. Using layers is a very helpful tool that I foresee myself using in a future projects so I want to get comfortable with it and enhance my skill in it.
