In this project, we had to work in groups of 4 or five and that was an interesting experience. I liked how a lot of us brought different ideas to the board and contributed to make the process easier. We didn't really split up the jobs too much besides filing. We had a couple people film an interview and a couple do a "word of the halls" style questions but it was a lot of collaborative work. I personally did a lot of filming and was behind the camera but I also was in some of the videos and contributed to the filming process. For interviews we decided to use the body mics or the lapel mic and for the word around the halls we used the handheld mics. In the editing process, we decided to do a voce over like they do in ONW Now and voiced over the whole documentary. I feel like I can coney the point across better and make it come together as a whole. I think the experience of using the Panasonic with the external mics was a good experience, the only tricky part was when if you moved the mic too much there wold be a buzz and electrical sound that would make it sound funny so we had to be extra careful and tell our interviewee to be careful.

We used almost all the clips in our documentary and we shot all of our footage in good lighting and had good angles and a variety of shots. We only had a hiccup when we interviewed Mr. Slaven because we were by a window so there was a lot of blue lighting so in premiere I used the color balance and made the video warmer. overall the editing process just took a lot of organizing and tedious work.

I thought the project was good! I like that we had time to make it look good and I think the hardest part about the whole documentary was the time restriction since would couldn't have it go over 2 minutes. The time restriction prepared me for the real world since when working with clients there are going to be limits that they will put on you.
