Working Experience

Here we asked Mrs. Debbie to act and she is telling Cody to take his hood off

This was a 5 person group project and we all had to work together and pitch inner ideas and if we disagreed or though we could change some scenes or shots we came to a conclusive decision as a group. At some times it did get a little rosy but overall it was a very good experience that taught me a lot about working with more people with video. Filming with the Panasonic AC90 was fun and I got used to the buttons and functions of the camera and since my role in the group with one other person was being behind the camera, it was crucial that I knew a basis and understanding of the camera.

Editing Process

Since we all had to do different edits on separate computers We ad to share all the clips in our Student Work Folder. Before I started filming I made sure to set the White Balance and to find the right lighting. I could ave improved the filming by getting longer pauses and breaks so it gives us more room for editing but other than that the shots looked good and we got the point across with the 6- shot system. For Editing I used the same basic skills and some transition effects that I used with the previous project.

Video Editing and Skills

We individually edited all of our videos and clips and I learned how to use transitions and syncing audio. In the future I want to get used to text as well as getting smoother transitions between clips. I got better with the cuts and as well as cutting in my own background music. The tutorials sorta helped but I honestly just played with it until I figured out what each function did. I do hope to look back and use them for reference in the future.
